[3]Dawson Community College Athletics will be hosting prospective student-athletes and their parents for Lady Buccaneer Softball Recruiting Days on Saturday and Sunday, October 16th and 17th, 2010.
Softball Recruit Weekend 2010 will begin with a check-in at 11:00am at BL Baker field on the Dawson Community College campus. The weekend will include a welcome from DCC head coach Jim Le Prowse, an overview of academic and athletic scholarships and services, information regarding NJCA eligibility, as well as a question and answer with DCC student-athletes. Prospective players are also encouraged to bring their softball gear to work out and scrimmage with the team. Workout/Scrimmages will be at 12 & 2 on Saturday and 10 & 12 on Sunday.
On the 16th the day will then end with the opportunity to watch the DCC volleyball home game in Toepke Center against Eastern Wyoming, which starts at 3 pm.
This special softball recruiting day is open to any prospective junior or senior high school student-athlete that is interested in attending Dawson Community College. Those wishing to attend must contact Coach Jim LeProwse. Please e-mail Jim at [email protected] [4] or call (406) 498-8707.
