The Dawson Community College men earned the team title at Sunday's University of Montana Spring Rodeo. The DCC men's team finished ahead MSU collecting 560 points.
Buccaneer Dustin Jenkins qualified for the CNFR in the Bull Riding event earning 2nd place in the region. Originally from the Bitterroot Valley Jenkins scored a 65 to win the average. (See Dustin's ride courtesy of Derek Buerkle (KPAX Sports)).
The top three in each event will advance to the College National Finals Rodeo that is scheduled to begin on June 10th in Casper Wyoming.
The men's all-around winner was Buccaneer Luke Gee out of Stanford, Montana.
Head Coach Rod Pashke was once again awarded Coach of the Year, yet another highlight for this years team.
