[3]#22 Christel Enriquez, a guard for the Dawson Community College Buccaneers, has signed to play basketball in Belleville, Illinois. Belleville is the eighth-most populated city outside of the Chicago Metropolitan Area and the most populated city south of Springfield in the state of Illinois with a population of over 44,000. This should be quite a change for Enriquez after playing for the Dawson Community College Buccaneers in Glendive Montana which has a population of around 6,500.
Lindenwood University-Belleville is a is a private, four-year liberal arts university with a NAIA Division I program. Coach Annie Ewing heads the women’s basketball for the LU-Belleville Lynx Athletic program.
Christel Enriquez graduated from Dawson Community College and will be working towards a Psychology degree at LU-Belleville.
