Every year, Dawson Community College theater department presents a fall and spring event. Last year's fall play was the drama Frontier Justice 1898, and in the spring a comedy A Nice Family Gathering. This year, director Ron Conrad, begins the season with a hilarious hit from Seattle called Inspecting Carol written by Daniel Sullivan.
"This is an extremely funny comedy about putting on a play within a play... A Christmas Carol" said Conrad. "Daniel Sullivan's writing displays his well-honed comedic talent as he thoroughly spoofs conventional Christmas plays. Inspecting Carol is filled with entertaining characters and clever jokes delivered by our outstanding troupe of DCC players".
This theater event will run Friday, November 16 and Saturday, November 17, 7:00 pm both nights in the Toepke Center Auditorium. "This delight is particularly appropriate during this time of year. We hope you'll attend and become part of our rising theater following" said Conrad.
