Licensed Zumba Instructor, Kathy Cross, will present the course Oct 21 through Dec 11 from 4:30 p.m.-5:20 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays in the old gym on the Dawson Community College campus.
Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves, merging traditional Latin Dance styles including Salsa, Reggaeton, Cumbia and Merengue, Hip Hop and Belly Dancing moves. Routines feature aerobic fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba classes are for those who want to burns calories with low impact aerobic exercise in a party like atmosphere.
“Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, bring water a towel and a positive attitude!” said instructor Kathy Cross. “Taking a Zumba class is a great way to maintain and improve your personal health and wellness.”
