Dawson Community College’s food service is located in the Student Center and offers nutritious ready to eat or cook-to-order breakfasts, deli, grilled items, salads or a full hot lunch. Meals to-go are available.

All students living in campus housing are required to have the $600 DCC Café food plan. The meal card is credited $300 at the beginning of the semester, and an additional $300 will be credited to your student meal card at midterm. Individuals can also purchase cafe cards for any dollar amount.

The food plan debit cards are purchased at the same time college tuition is paid in the business office. All students living in campus housing are automatically charged for the food plan. 

Meal cards are activated immediately and each time it is scanned by Café staff money is deducted from the student’s pre-paid food plan account.

Unused food plan dollars will not be refunded or carried over from semester-to-semester. If a student withdraws from DCC within a term, the card will be deactivated and no refund will be made.
