You may bring parents and friends. Separate activities including a campus and community tour are planned for your parents/guests throughout the morning while you complete your registration agenda with other DCC students.
After selecting the date you will attend, please complete the attached response form and return to DCC ten days prior to your arrival. The form may also be completed on the DCC website: www.dawson.edu

YOU SHOULD ATTEND IF
√ you are a student who has made application to the DCC Admissions Office and you want to register in advance for Fall 2008 semester classes. For answers to questions about your admissions status, please contact the Admissions Office:

√ you are the parent or spouse of a student who has made application to DCC and want to help the whole family understand the DCC environment-- the campus, the programs, the resources -- as well as the changes, challenges and opportunities DCC students encounter.

DOCUMENTATION NEEDED:
FOR PLACEMENT TESTING
√All new students, including transfer students, must take math, writing and reading placement tests before registering for classes. Advance Registration is your best opportunity to complete this testing so you can relax and enjoy fall orientation. You will need to prove your identity prior to taking the placement tests so bring a PHOTO ID with you.

FOR IMMUNIZATIONS
√ Proof of immunization against measles and rubella is required prior to registration by Montana law if you were born on or after January 1, 1957. Avoid delays in registration by sending a copy of your immunization record ahead of time to: Admissions Office.
