Hope Scholarship/Lifetime Learning Tax Credit

Tax Benefits are now available to families that may not qualify for much gift aid, and who choose to submit information on their tax return regarding their out of pocket expenses toward the cost of tuition and certain required fees. The Hope Scholarship and Lifetime Learning tax credit programs are based on the amount paid by the taxpayer for these expenses, either by the student, or for the parent who claims the student as an exemption.
