Attention: ALL WALKERS and WALKER WANT-TO-BE’S
The Toepke Center indoor walking track on the Dawson Community College campus is available for use by the public. One delighted user said after her walk, “I just love walking inside on the track I can get more miles in and go back to work without messing up my hair!”
The walking track FREE and generally open weekdays from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm, and weekends 2 pm to 4 pm. Good quality walking shoes are recommended while you walk in a warm, safe environment, viewing our winning basketball teams practice sessions down below.
All facilities are closed during school holidays. The walking track is also closed during regularly scheduled college activities on the mezzanine to ensure public safety for each activity.

Those interested in keeping track of their miles may purchase a Digi-Walker pedometer in the college book store located on the first floor of the Toepke Center. Books, trail maps, and assistance setting up your Digi-Walker are also available there.
Move to improve, begin your active life style starting October 1st join the 100 MILE walking club at Dawson Community College. Get started on your 10,000 steps a day. Then come for coffee, breakfast or a healthy snack at the college dining room open from 7:30am to 2:00 pm. For more information about the 100 MILE walking club call Joyce Ayre at (406) 377-9450.
