DCC After School Program

November - December 2020 

We welcome school aged children K-12th engaged in traditional learning, home learning, or online learning.

All Events are FREE 

These events are made possible by a Coronavirus Relief Fund grant from the State of Montana.

  • Tutoring

    Beginning November 9, 2020 
    Monday - Friday 
    1:00 pm - 5:00 pm 
    DCC Main Building 

    During Hybrid learning, tutoring will be       offered between the hours of 1pm—5pm.  Hours and days subject to change if Restricted model is put into place.  DCC Coordinators will work with you to adjust your students    schedule. 

    *DCC is not responsible for transportation 
    **Bring your own eLearning supplies, water bottle, and a mask 

  • Music Camp

    Fridays, 2pm– 4:45pm 
    Nov. 6, Nov. 13, Nov. 20 
    Age group: K-4th 
    Age group: 5th-7th 
    Age group: 8th-12th 
    Students will enjoy the introduction to a variety of instruments such as violin, percussion, drums, recorders, piano and more! 
    All instruments are provided.   
    Sessions will open again Dec. 4, Dec. 11, and Dec. 20.   

  • STEM Activities

    Monday - Friday, 3:30pm—5:30pm 
    Mondays/Tuesdays:  K-2nd grade 
    Wednesday/Thursday:  3rd-5th grade 
    Fridays: 6th- 8th grade 

  • Taking Care of Yourself: Techniques to Stay Active

    Wednesday/Friday, 3:30p-5:30pm 
    6th-12th grade 
    Join DCC Cross Country Coach, Alex Wolff and DCC Bucs in this active session where you will learn proper stretching techniques, how to care for your body while working out, and more! 
    Students need to wear stretchy clothing and running shoes.  Bring own water bottle. 

  • Sewing Techniques

    Thursday and Fridays, 3:30pm - 5:30pm 
    1st-4th grade 
    Session 1:  Nov. 12-13 
    Session 2:  Nov. 19-20 
    Session 3:  Dec. 3-4 
    Session 4:  Dec. 10-11 
    Join DCC art instructor, Jen Wheeler in this two day class where you will learn how to make your own sewing project to take home!

  • Stained Glass Creations

    Tuesday-Friday, 3:30pm-5:30pm 
    9th-12th grade 
    Session 1:  Nov. 17-18 
    Session 2:  Nov. 19-20 
    Session 3:  Dec. 1-2 
    Session 4:  Dec. 3-4 
    Join DCC mathematics instructor Mike Hunter who has been creating stained glass art for over two decades and, in this hands-on workshop, will teach you how to cut and piece together colored glass to form     beautiful, reflective patterns.  Take home pieces!
