Industry Partnerships
Dawson Community College believes in working closely with industry leaders to ensure learning facilities and curriculum match current industry standards and needs. The College listens to local and regional employers, community partners, and industry stakeholders to learn about their needs and how Dawson Community College can help meet them. Instructors and program directors may adjust career and technical education program objectives to ensure students have the most up-to-date and in-demand skills needed for the workforce.
Through the Workforce Development Program, Dawson Community College works directly with local and regional employers to determine their needs and develop and deliver high-quality, affordable, and customized training either on campus or in the workplace.
