Buccaneer Day is a special event hosted by Dawson Community College for prospective and committed students to experience life as a Buccaneer. During this event, participants attend real college classes, meet instructors, coaches, and current students, and learn about DCC’s academic programs, student services, and campus life. Visitors also enjoy a free meal in the cafeteria, take a guided campus tour, and receive Buccaneer gear.

The goal of Buccaneer Day is to help students see what it’s like to be part of the DCC community—both inside and outside the classroom.
