Other Scholarship Opportunities
The following scholarships require their own application form and may have requirements different from those of DCC’s Student Scholarship program. To be awarded one of these, complete an application for each scholarship according to the instructions given. If awarded, you will be notified by the organization, and then they will correspond with our financial aid team in order to distribute funds accordingly.

2+2 Honor Scholarships are awarded annually to Montana students graduating from MUS 2-year campuses.
This Scholarship waives tuition for 2 years as these students continue their education at a qualifying 4-year institution. -
Athletic Scholarships
Dawson Community College varsity athletic programs provide intercollegiate competition. Students interested in pursuing varsity athletic scholarships should contact the coach; information is available at http://www.dawsonbucs.com/information/directory/

- Loan Fees
- Guaranteed winnings
- “Everybody is eligible” – Scholarships all have selective criteria
- Unclaimed aid myth – “Billions of dollars of scholarships go unclaimed every year”
